Yes, Congratulations to Tina! :2thumbsup:

Tina, your kit shipped today and is scheduled for delivery on 08/08/2008. I will email you the tracking info tomorrow.

This is a great basic auto emergency kit and it has plenty of room for you to add items to personalize the kit to meet your needs. Every vehicle needs at least basic emergency supplies; especially family vehicles. We hope you never need it Tina but drive with a little more peace of mind and congratulations again!

The kit arrived when it was promised. It's this one here (http://shop.safetykitsplus.com/product.sc?categoryId=19&productId=59)

We do a lot of traveling through MN and IA, in the dark and winter, so we've always had a safety kit. I've been wanting to figure out a way to make it smaller and not in a hard plastic container (we have a small wagon), so this was a good opportunity to do so. The bag that contains the kit is smallish -- close to shoebox size I would say -- and I managed to fit everything the kit contained, plus most of our original kit. I did have to take our small first aid kit and the weather radio out to make everything else fit, but I think I will be much happier with this -- I will likely have 2 or 3 smaller things -- this bag, small soft-sided first aid kit and weather radio, rather than the one larger hard, plastic box. The kit did come with jumper cables which is a plus for us. We haven't owned any and had to have major work on the electrical system last winter -- the problem may be coming back, so it will be good to have cables (I just have to learn how to use them!)

We're quite happy : ). Thanks!

Tina, sounds like you've already made great use of the kit! :2thumbsup:

This is one of our most basic kits hence the size and nature of the contents. Although its pretty basic this kit provides real preparedness in the event of a breakdown or emergency. Adding to the kit as you did makes it perfect! Our more complete car emergency kits come with a roomier bag and lots of safety items.

Thanks for participating in the contest and congratulations again for winning!

My family and I wanted to say "thank you" again. We just got back from a 4-day camping trip. We "car camp" with a big tent and usually too much stuff! Our old emergency kit that we had put together in a rubbermaid box would not have fit well this trip. Your kit fit perfectly in the small space between our large box of gear and where the wheel comes up into the cargo space of our small wagon. It was so nice to not have to sort through our kit to figure out what I was going to keep in their car and where I was going to keep it all. It made efficient use of space and was so easily accessible if we had needed it. Thank you again!

Tina, you are very welcome!

The kit I keep in my car with an air compressor and emergency triangle comes in handy almost weekly. My wife is always the one with jumper cables or band aids at the soccer game or field trip.

:2thumbsup: Congratulations to Stacy H. from Louisiana for being our August Winner. Visit www.safetykitsplus.com to enter to win the September Car Emergency Kit.

Good Luck!

My fingers are crossed. It would be mighty handy here in hurricane land. Especially after what we all went through with Gustav.
