Hi-- I took my seats inside today to wash the padding, and when I took it off I noticed alot of "crumblies" from the foam in the base. Also the foam pulls right off the base and you can see parts of it on the edges are missing. (See pics below) The seats are only about 15 months old -- are they broken? Do they need to be replaced?
what it looks like with foam in place:

side of foam part:

kernals in the back:

Is this normal? Is it okay? The seats are less than a 18 months old.

I wouldn't worry about little crumblies unless it leaves an area where there is absolutely no EPS. Basically the EPS is there to absorb crash forces. You could try calling Britax and see what they say, maybe they'll send you new EPS foam. You can also order it online off their site, but I'd see what they have to say first if that's the route you choose.

I would definately call Britax - I have a 2 year old MA and it has not done that. And i have changed covers and installed and unistalled bunches of times!
