Yeah - i finally got a new car! We got it yeserday - of course no manual so i have to call chevy and order one - until I do, i installed 2 uptowns - 1 FF 1 RF - I installed the FF in the center with the top tether and latch - I installed the RF outboard passenger no tether and latch - the car has 6 seperate latch anchors so i figured you can install in the center and outboard - does anyone have a manual or can verify that this is ok or do both seats have to be outboard! Thanks!
Also, all though tight squeeze both seats are installed with no movement and are not being held in by the other - they do touch though.

You can use LATCH in all three positions, but not at the same time. The center and driver's side overlap. Your anchors look like this (A= passenger side, B= center, C= driver's side)-
A AB CB C
If you are using Center LATCH, you cannot use the driver's side outboard for any passenger- carseat or not- because it blocks the seatbelt. As long as you are using the correct anchors for your center position, it's fine the way you have it. However, your car is only a 4 seater that way.
Also, make sure that each is independently installed- meaning, still move less than 1" in any direction at the beltpath when the seat next to it is removed.

Ok so I am using A A for the RF and I am using B B for the center - so the seats are fine i just cannot have a passenger in the empty seat behind the driver?

That's correct.
