Anybody have the owner's manual for the Mercury Milan. Dh bought this car yesterday, but the manual is not there. He will be calling the dealership today but we need to install the car seat now. Are there any special differences to installing a car seat in this car? Thanks

There is LATCH in both outboard positions. I glanced over the manual of the Fusion (sister car) and I don't recall finding any strange rules. LATCH limit is 48 lbs.

Congrats on the new car. I peeked in the LATCH manual to check on center LATCH installations in the Milan for you because Ford/Mercury allows it in certain vehicle models if the child restraint also allows it. The LATCH manual says Ford/Mercury allows center lower LATCH installations in the Milan using the inner lower anchors from the outboard seating positions if the child restraint has flexible lower LATCH connector straps, and if the child restraint manual indicates it can be installed using lower anchors that are 500 mm (20 inches) apart.

It looks like you can download a copy of the manual for free from the Mercury website:

You'll have to register and include your VIN number.
