2211This is my sisters back seat. It is a 2008 Honda Accord.
I need to fit a Blvd, Apex (maybe regent) and then her FPSVD in the back.
The BLVD and FPSVD will be rear-facing. Please Help!
If not possible what CHEAP booster would be the best option for my 5 yr old 40lbs son?
I was thinking if we have the regent by then that it can go in
These are the pictures she sent so hopefully it will give you a good idea. She is my ONLY option for a ride.

Thanks a million.

Hi there...you are in one of my Cafemom groups too, I saw your post there too...small world. Anyway, I hate to say it, but there is no way you will fit a Regent in that back seat with 2 other car seats. I have a Regent, RF Marathon and a RF Graco SafeSeat 1 in the bench seat of my mini van, and it took forever to get them all in. There is NO room left at all. Remember too, that if you use the Apex 65 that you HAVE to have the head rest on the vehicle seat for support since it is not reinforced. Have you thought about the Britax Frontier? I think it might be a little narrower than the Regent. If you want me to I can take pictures of how tight the seats are in my mini van. you can message me on cafemom and I will send you pics (it is http://www.cafemom.com/home/trishwise)

I am getting the Regent through KDM since Johnathon will very shortly outgrow his Apex.
My sis measured and the seat is deep enough that the Apex will work. ( well not since it wont fit. LOL)....
I dont know what to do. I hate to put him in a booster but I cant just go out and buy a $200 car seat.
What booster would be best?
A friend recomended putting Seth FF and that may work but that is not even an option.

It might work, but I am not sure.

Put the two RF convertibles outboard, installed with seatbelts. Move them as close to the doors as you can.

The Apex is so wide that I can't imagine it in the center, but it is worth a try.

If you do need to put your DS into a booster, I would lock the seatbelt on him. You can definitely do that in a 2008. :)

He has been in one. I just sold his Parkway like a dumbutt. It would have been perfect in her car. But a Parkway doesnt work out in my van. The belt rides up on even a 7 year olds tummy...

Anyways he hates a booster so I hate to go that route but I may have too...

I am still trying to think of any option possible without having to pay $150. lol.

I used to have a scenera and an apex 65 in my car, then when I got pregnant again (this time) I grabed another scenera thinking I could just do that.. but unfortunatly it was just impossible.. I was faced with.. get a minivan, or, get radians.. I choose the later cause I have a fear of how I would drive in a minivan (I have never driven anything but a sedan)

I have three radians across the back.. the cpst said I could fit a regular snug ride seat in the center if I wanted to.. that I have enough space, in my 03 passat if I keep the other two radians.

good luck.. I remember dealing with this issue of three seats in a sedan and it was frustrating cause there really was not a good affordable option.. either was an investment.. but worth it.

Is this a one time thing or a frequent thing?

Is there anyway you could find someone to swap your Regent for a Radian80?

what about the FPSVD booster? It's pretty narrow (expecially in LBB mode dialed to the smallest setting). It's $40 at Albeebaby (http://www.albeebaby.com/fisher-price-safe-voyage-booster-car-seat-tan-tech.html).

Isn't that working the system a bit? I think it would make more sense to just ask KDMF if it's possible to get a Radian instead.

I posted to another poster earlier about the FPSVB. I saw it for $30 at Albee. Cool!:cool:

This is for a temporary situation?

I'd get a booster and put it in the center. If it will fit between the two carseats, it will work, though buckling will be difficult. What you do is pull the booster forward on the seat a few inches, then have the child sit in it. Pull the seat belt around and buckle it using the gap you've created behind the booster. Then push the booster and child back into the correct place against the vehicle seat, and tighten.

If it's going to be ongoing, I'd look into Radians to replace the Britax & FP, and a GN to replace the Apex (if he's outgrowing the Apex, the Radian isn't going to last him much longer, either.) You *might* be able to get those to fit.

This is a one time trip..
He will soon outgrow the Radian and Apex which is why we are getting a Regent. He will have much more room in the harness.

This is for only about 3 or 4 days max. He is almost 6 and he knows how to sit in a booster so I know he would be okay. LOL. It is just my own personal fears.

I will look into the FPSV booster. I was just going to buy him a booster when we got to Germany anyways.
Thanks
