So I noticed these things the other day when washing my BLVD.
The base was apparently on the latch hookes and it dented the base.
Also the adjuster strap is starting to pick a little from the velcro. Do you think it is still safe? I know some damage to the base isnt okay, I just dont know if this qualifies or not.
Thanks

Send them a picture of it installed. That's ridiculous to say that the LATCH hooks don't protrude - not all cars are built the same!

Ok, I'm editing my post because I get what you're saying now. (I have a terrible headache and didn't realize what part of the base the picture was showing.)
Disregard.

The damage is right where the base would sit by the Latch hook (in the van seat). The picture is just of the corner of it. It looks like when it set on the hook that the pressure pushed the edges out a bit.
I talked to someone else who took it to her manager so we will see what they say. I think I might send them more pics anyways so they can understand more what I am talking about.

Do you see the little piece of food? She that gash right above it? That is where it was sitting on top of the LATCH hook. Then see to the side where it kid of protrudes? That is what I am assuming is from the pressure of the seat being pushed down on the hooks.
I had a tech help so I cant believe this happened. But I fixed it he is jsut a little more upright now.
