The 6 month old I'm watching is outgrowing her SR soon, and I've convinced her mom to get her a MA even though she's on a tight budget. I thought Albeebaby was having some really good sales, but I guess not. I've checked BabyAge and BabyUniverse too...everything is about the same. Anything I'm missing?

Britax re-instated their pricing policy across the board. You should see the same prices on Britax prices everywhere, unless the item is discontinued.
During the authorized Britax sales, the prices will be lower.

Even in family owned businesses, they have to have the same price as everywhere else? I called USA Baby and they said they are having a sale on Saturday and I could get a MA for 269.99 or if I waited for the next sale in a month or so it would be 279.99 which would be the same price as everywhere else. I am thinking their regular price for a MA was 299.99.

Family Owned or not, Britax places the same restrictions on all their resellers.
You may find the prices lower in some smaller B&M stores as they combat the internet. Even with the prices all being the same everywhere, by buying online, you save the sales tax which is about 10%.
You will find lower prices during authorized britax sales periods. If you check my sponsors forum, you'll see details of an upcoming britax sale.
