Is there any place you can tether a RF Radian in a 08 Radian behind the driver in a capt chair?
Thanks for any info :)

A tech here has the same vehicle. This is what she has to say about rf tether-
There is a horizontal metal plate under the driver's seat about the midpoint of the seat (it is bolted to the floor). You can wrap the d-ring around that plate and tether to the d-ring. You will not be able to move your driver's seat though because the tether strap will end up coming straight out from under the driver's seat and then up to the child restraint. You may want to consider putting the BV on the passenger side as that seat would be easier to never adjust.

Thanks, I tried that for the person, but they both needed their seats far back. I told them just to leave it untethered.
I was hoping there was possibility to tether it to the actual seat the car seat is on, but I didn't think that was safe or an option.

No, Britax changed that. You are no longer allowed to tether to the same seat as the seat is installed when using the Swedish method. We covered it in the chat session with their rep (hopefully the transcript will be up soon). The tether has to angle forward toward the front of the vehicle- not back or even straight down.

Yes, I remembered Britax changed it, I wondered if Sunshine Kids said anything ever about the Radian :)

The seat can be far back and still tethered (mine was all the way back)... the tether just comes out from the bottom of the seat and then up. It means that you can not adjust your seat forward/back without loosening the tether first, but it can still be done relatively easily. :)

Do you have pics? I'm trying to remember what the van looks like and what you are/were describing in your van. :)

No pics... but if the kids co-operate, I can get some with the Radian later this pm... it will be the Radian though, dh has the MA in his car at work.

Dh's legs are much shorter than mine and we have to move the seat and adjust the tether every time he drives. And when I adjust it for my amazon self. :)

I just need pics of the tether :) I'm just trying to figure out what piece you are talking about. I had the tether attached to the metal bar under the seat, near where the wires are. The problem with that was, when you moved the seat back it pushed the tether down more and more as the seat went back.
Maybe we are talking about the same thing, the tether just has to be looser if the seat is further back?

Exactly. You would need to loosen the tether, adjust the seat, pull the tether snug.
