My son is in between the second and 3rd slot in the MA..I need some ex.of where the harness needs to fit rearfacing.He is 19 months,23lbs,32inches.I know below,but how far below.

If he is between two harness slots, the harness needs to be in the closest slot under his shoulder.

Ok,So He would go to the 2nd slot.I just always worried about having it too low.

When RF you would rather have the harness to low than to high ;).

Make sure you're checking against the actual shell. The cover can slip and be an inaccurate gauge. On my MA, the cover slots often appear higher than the ones in the shell.

I'd maybe move them up if he was just a smidge under the next slots and you were having problems with the harness slipping off his shoulders (by smidge, I mean less than 1/4"). Otherwise, always at or below the shoulders for rf. Having them too high will allow him to ramp up and strike something above the shell of the seat in a crash.
