View Full Version : Need help please installing Britax Frontier in LeSabre

Hi there,

We are trying to install the Frontier into the middle seat of our Buick LeSabre. We have installed the Marathon and Regent with no problem in the middle seat.

We are baffled. Long route doesn't work...we don't have enough seat belt.

Short route is strange, we can't use our locking clip.

Can anyone give us some advice.

Have you tried installing it in another position yet? Do you have other seats you're working with in the vehicle?

Okay, hubby seemed to get the long path to work, but the buckle clip I am not sure if it is okay.

We have an only child, so we want her in the middle of the carseat (which is the safest)

Well if you can't get a good install in the center I would take a rock solid outboard install over an iffy center one. In a 2000 I THINK your belts should lock? (anyone clarify?) Is it a lap/shoulder belt?
