Check your ToysRUs/BabiesRUs for the TrueFit!

My TRU just called me to say that the True Fit is in! I live in a smaller city and we have a smaller TRU with a small BRU section in it (no separate entrance or anything) so I'd expect the larger stores should have it too!

I already bought 2 at Zellers but I am still going to check out the one at TRU so I can see what the Aurora looks like!

Dang! payday isn't until Friday and I know our store wasn't getting a ton in. I hope it's still there later in the week. Still don't know if I'm buying one, but I want to see the cover and be able to buy it if I want to. :whistle:

That's all she saw when I called, but they may have restocked since it was last week.

I really like ours. Hubby called them the kids' Lazy Boys ;)

They do look comfy, and our youngest can sit with his legs up and bent, it's wide enough for him for that.

And with the SIP, I just FEEL safer... They look safe and comfy in our backseat. :)

I haven't had a chance to go down to my local BRU but when someone gets their hands on a BRU/TRU True Fit do you mind posting a pic of what it looks like in real life without the infant padding if possible since I won't be using it (the stock photos are sometimes misleading and only show the seat with the extra padding) and also the DOM. I was wondering if since they were released later then the Zellers True Fits if they would have a later DOM. Thanks!!!

TRU in Hamilton has the True fit in stock. The black fabric is similar to the Black Ice EFTA and under the infant padding is silver fabric similar to the Onyx MA. I totally forgot to check the DOM though :(

I'll have to check out our Zellers next time I'm there but I think I'll like their cover better because the black looks and feels like it's going to be really hot in the summer.

Maybe West doesn't have it yet? I haven't been in to my store - don't work until tomorrow. Stock arrives every day though, so it could change day to day. :thumbsup:

If anyone sees one at TRU/BRU, please check the DOM! It seems all the current ones at Zellers are 31/03/08.

Thanks, I bought one at Zellers but was considering returning it and getting one at TRU if it had a better DOM. I may still check it out to see if I like the cover better but it sounds like from what you said that the one I have (misty morning) may be the one I keep which would be nice!

I guess there is not a lot of people around here who know their carseats or care, as our Zellers had 4 come in and the 3 I didn't buy are still stting on the shelf. Unopened. I bet they would sell faster if they cracked a box open and set a display model on the shelf!

I think they should do that with all car seats. It can be a pain to get one home and your kid doesn't even fit into it (which you could check at the store, if they'd let you), or it doesn't seem like what you thought it would be like.

Mmmm, I finally got to see the True Fit!! I saw it at TRU. It looks soo comfy. They had it at Zellers too, though not out of the box. I think I convinced my SIL to get one for her dd. I think she was going to get a Radian, but when I told her about the True Fit, and that it's cheaper, she kinda liked that idea:) I know my second child will definitely be getting one of these, unless some other seat comes out that is better (and just as cheap).
