Better fit for newborn

This is entirely hypothetical, but assume neither money nor space are an issue. Do you think the Roundabout/Diplomat fits a newborn better than a Marathon/Boulevard?

Nope, they are exactly the same with a shorter shell.

Yup, bottom slot height is the same on all those seats, so a newborn will fit them the same. The ones with infant inserts might fit infants a bit better, though.

I think the DP might have slightly lower slots, I know the top slot is slightly lower than the RA. I'm still not sure it would be quite low enough for a normal sized nb. I know the RA stinks for a nb, I have plenty of pics of Ilana in that and the BV to show how bad it is.
