Help a mom pick a seat

I am helping a mom choose a seat. She was looking to get a used one but had looked at a Scenera as well. Her budget is hopefully no more than $70 since it is a spare seat for grandma's car. She would like it to last through a second child. The baby is 5 months old, 26 inches and about 14lbs.

Is the Scenera a good choice? Any suggestions? Comments?

Yes the Scenera is a good choice. And not only for the price, it's a decent seat and performs just as well as any other convertable if used properly.

I wouldn't fear...I think the Scenera is a great choice for occasional use, perfect for Grandma's car!
