Just wondering if all your seats match??

or are they specifically for each child, like a pink one for girl etc.

We will be getting a bigger seat shortly for both our vehicles. Right now we have the Safe Seat in Brown (Samuel) which we probably couldn't match it to a bigger seat for the time when we need the infant seat again.

We have a 9 month old and 13 year old dds and plan on having at least one more, if the next one is another girl, another will be up for discussion.

That being said we will have at least 2 car seats in each vehicle at some point, maybe 3.

Just curious if people buy matching ones or just which one they like at the time??

Mine definitely don't match. However, I generally only keep one seat at a time in my car.

Mine cordinate (except for the red monterey I just bought) but I'm weird when it comes to matching. ;)

Right now have the green marathon, ashley floral marathon, brown parkway, and my oldest either rides in the brown prospect or the backless red monterey since he is too tall to use the back. In the fall I'll switch the ashley floral for the Erin that is in my siggy.

Mine don't match in the slightest.

I've got a Midnight Desert (black/yellowy-tan) Vivo, Bravo Nautilus (black/gray), and navy Evenflo Big Kid.

The only time I ever had semi-matching was when I had a denim SR/C and Cool Blues RA - and that was coincidence because that happened to be the only SR/C cover available at the time.

I don't buy mine to match, but I prefer that they complement each other. I bought a Gray/Black Radian because it was gender neutral and then the second one I bought was gray as well and I got a spare princess cover because E loved it so much. I'm all about buying the pattern that the child loves the most (for older kids) but, I try to keep in mind if the seat is going to be passed down and what the probability of buying a spare cover at that point would be KWIM?

I admit it, I really really like it when my carseats match each other, and the vehicle seats. We used to have tan seats, and I traded my granite cover with a member to get the desert so it would match, and had the blacksmith confidence for DD, which also matched sooo nicely.

Well fast forward to the black leather interior of our new vehicle and those tan seats stick out like a sore thumb. Thankfully the clek came on sale at CT, and at 8.5 y and almost 90lbs, DD is more than big enough for a backless, and the new vehicle has side curtain airbags and tall headrests, so whew, a brand new dark grey clek oto blends in perfectly with the seats. I had also given my granite short strap Radian to a neighbour for his little wee DS, so I asked him if we could trade back covers (he thought I was NUTS:whistle:) but we did, and the granite matches the clek really well, and goes perfectly with the black interior. My new parkway in onyx just happens to be a really a good match too......now if only I could get DS sitting in it correctly:o

That said, if I could get a zebra clek jacket, and a cow moo cover for the parkway, I'd be all over it......no matter how much they stuck out!

Dh's co-workers asked him if he was going on safari. We have a zebra MA and a Cowmoo MA. Shame we don't have the leopard-y Husky cover anymore. :D

I only have one seat now, but I'll be adding another soon, and they probably won't match. There are so many more choices for colours and patterns available now in Canada than when I bought my DD's tan microdot MA back in 2005! I don't think I can resist a Cowmoo cover ...

I don't plan for mine to match or coordinate, and if they do, it's pretty random. DH's car has a dark gray/nearly black interior, and currently has a Midnight Desert Signo and a Cougar Regent installed in it. The seats do seem pretty coordinated and matchy-matchy to the car's interior, but it wasn't deliberate. It just worked out that way.

If I had another kid then they would match :D

I have to add, if/when I need another car it will have to match the seats I have now.

It used to bother me more when my daughter was RF and my son FF versus non-matching covers! Right now we have two Marathons, FF, in the van and they're Ashley and Cowmoo; black interior. My ex's car has a black Safeguard Go and a RF pink Como in it; grey interior.

My older two boys had matching Racer Starriser/Comfy's though!

Yep, I searched for a van with a tan interior.

I must confess that I too am a "matcher". I have a grey interior in my van so I have 4 grey Radians and 1 granite Parkway. My husband just got a new car with a tan leather interior and it drives me CRAZY when I have to put my grey seats on tan seats. I've been trying to hunt down a tan Parkway but have had no such luck.

I do not match the seats to each other but in general the covers go with whatever car they are installed in.

Our van is Blue exterior and Grey interior and DS Radian is Blue\Grey. It goes great. But it really would not matter what color our van interior was we would have the blue Radian in it. We all love the color blue.

DD cover is what ever I feel like putting on and with the exception of the Zebra really does not ever compliment the interior. I can live with it as I adore the fun covers.

MIL's van is a tan\beige interior and I put the DS desert Radian in her van and it goes nicely. For DD I got a Sandbox cover for her EFTA which is a beige\tan colored covered. I think it goes well with the interior and desert Radian.

Now DH car is where everything gets messed up.

DH is on the hunt for newer\fuel efficient car and traded his old car in but still is driving it...so I do not know what the interior cover will be like on his next car. We have the Radian Champagne cover for DH's car, so what ever it will be, if it is Grey or Beige that cover should go nicely

I usually put DD Marathon in DH car if we are going anywhere together in it short term. But when I need a seat installed there for a while I put our Black\Blue Eddie Bauer which does not look nice in anything except a black interior car.

I only care what my car looks like! ;) Brian's car is dark gray, with a gray interior, a gray radian, and a microdot marathon! :D

I of course have the pink MA and Regent in my van. They match perfectly with my grey interior. My DH has grey seats and a Sahara Regent and a Nautilus. They don't match, but I don't ride in it much .

On the weekends I have the sahara and the U or M parkway in my van. The sahara will soon have a Michigan State "S" embroidered on it to add a little rivalry to the University of Michigan PW! The Sahara goes on the one bucket seat and in the back seat opposite to the sahara is the PW. The pink Regent goes on the other bucket seat and the pink MA goes on the opposite side in the back. It coordinates great and looks good from whichever door you are looking in.

Yep... I'm a nerd too!
