I opened my new Sears catalog today and it is now listed for order through catalog instead of just sold at stores.
It has the erroneous 5-35lb RF limit though.

I noticed that it's available online now today too but didn't get around to posting it yet. :)
eta: Online says 35lbs rf'ing too, and 47lbs ff'ing. Think there's any chance they've raised the rf'ing weight limit?
(TRU also has it back in stock online. Maybe Evenflo has caught up to demand?)

Trudy,
I know this is nuts, as I assume you've read your EFTA manual front to back, sideways, backwards, and upside down LOL, but I remember a CDN poster on bbc once saying that in the TA manual it says that the seat can be used rf to 35lbs but only if installed with the seatbelt... as in you cannot use UAS/LATCH from 30-35lbs. Now I remember taking it for fact at the time (even posting that my guess was too much over-rotation with UAS use... really just grasping for some sort of explanation really), and sort of just going with the flow (having no access to a manual myself), but I would really like to know if this is just some sort of urban car seat legend, or if somewhere deep within the manual lies a brief statement about such a thing.
To the OP, AWESOME news about sears now having it through the catalogue. :)

I am 99.9999% sure that there isn't any statement in there like that. That's the type of thing I would usually notice, and I have read the manual front to back a few times. However, things do sometimes slip through the cracks when I'm reading with my kids around so I can't be 100% certain. It would be a very very odd comment to have though and I'd be surprised if I did miss it.
I'll have to re-read the manual when I get a chance to say 100%, but I'd feel pretty confident in saying it's an urban car seat legend.

When I read our EFTA manuel I saw no mention of anything like that.
