The Social Groups and Friends features have been disabled. They may be considered again in the future. We're all friends anyway and have a social group dedicated to child safety, right?
In exchange, the last profile visitors feature is back, but limited to the most recent 2 visitors. We will see if that is a reasonable compromise between seeing who is viewing your profile and not wanting to be seen viewing someone else's profile.
I've also enabled custom profile styling for all donors and community members. You can now do a bit of personalization to your user profile! I'm pretty sure this feature will stay, but I don't know the extent of what is possible so there's a possibility it may be limited or removed if it can be abused in any manner. Please note that user profiles are NOT visible to unregistered guests or new users who have not confirmed their email and been approved as a member. Some usergroups such as Moderators, Gurus, Supporters, Benefactors and Sponsors have additional styling options.
For now, Visitor Messaging and Albums will remain active. Use will be restricted for some usergroups, and album image sizes and storage will increase for some usergroups, particularly donors.
