We just got a rental 2008 town and country, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to install a FPSVD in the center seat in the rear. It has a shoulder belt that comes down from the ceiling, but I cannot get it to lock like the outer ones. I read the manual which is less than helpful.

I thought it also had locking latchplates, but the seat kept moving even after I had it tight.

Can anyone provide any help with this issue? Do I have to use a locking clip, which I'm not sure how to use?

Thanks!

Can you not use the LATCH? The LATCH on the bench seat is set a little off of center; but might be a possibility...

The manual says all positions have locking latchplates, but only the third row center does. The rest are switchable ALRs. Did you try flipping the male end of the buckle one half turn? By flipping it 180 degrees and buckling it backward, you can better align the belt portions to lock properly.
