The friends and social groups may not survive, either. Doesn't really promote community IMO. We shall see.

Yes! It really is like grade school. "Aw, poor new kid hasn't made any friends yet! Will you befriend them? Or is the risk of social ostracism too much for you? Will everyone else laugh at you if you befriend Defrost? What if Defrost rejects you? Oh noes!"

That note I "made up" was actually nearly word-for-word the same as one I got when arrived as the "new kid" in the middle of my third year. Just replace "firend" with "grilfirend" LOL! That was back in my popular days, before I got glasses. ;)

Many things have been updated. Features have been added. Usergroup permissions may have been altered. The chat room integration is modified. All these things are subject to change for a while. Some new features may be disabled, others may be enabled. Please don't get used to anything for now.

I'm not sure about that. I will look into it. I do know that guests and new members who have not been approved cannot see your albums. I have the permissions set that way, but have not yet tested it. I suspect there is no way to keep other members from copying them, though.

Right, permissions for unregistered users including search engines are zero for photo albums and profiles in general. If you have uploaded a photo into your album, copy the exact link and see if you can access it after you logout. It should return an error.
