so i got my true fit today and there is more love for this seat, than not.

i got a crazy tight fit with the LATCH on the outboard (i'll try center seatbelt install tomorrow) and i love the ease of use on the top tether....it is a much needed improvement to v-shaped tethers.

i won't go all out and give a review here since there are other threads with such purpose but what i haven't found is mention of the difference between the 2nd, 3rd and 4th harness slots - i'm sure it exists but i can't find anything about this.

the difference between the first two slots is pretty normal and then there's a leap and the gap between the 2nd and 3rd and then the 3rd and 4th is larger. my son's shoulders are a hair above the 2nd slot, so i should adjust them to the third slot but then they are more than 1" above his shoulders. is this okay? i know the requirement - at or above shoulder for FF - but the wording usually indicates that it should barely be above (in fact, page 35 of the TF manual says "slightly above" with the word slightly in red, for emphasis....my problem then, is, 1" is not "slightly"...suggestions?

When they say "slightly" they just mean "the next slot." As in, if his shoulders are below the 3rd slot, don't use the 4th.
