I'm looking for two urine deflectors for potty rings. They threw them away because they weren't needed for E. But, I cannot find where to buy just that part, nor can I find a "retrofit" part. So, anyone have any of these floating around?

I think I have a couple. What kind of potty chair do you have?

I'm not sure what kind it is. It doesn't have a brand written on it. It has a blue hard plastic base with handles on each side and a white squishy top.

I think that one had a blue rubber deflector. We have one at my mom's. But, still need the cup. ;)

Any idea what brand yours is? If I knew what the company was, I could call and see if they would sell me a replacement part. Out of all the things that isn't stamped with the brand in a bunch of different places...it's the one thing where the brand might actually be useful to me:rolleyes:

Nope, no clue. It was purchased at Wal-Mart and they may still have them. I'll bet someone here has one. :)

I cannot find one that looks the same. I've looked in store, online, and on ebay to find a brand  I'll try and take a pic tomorrow and post it. I'm hoping I can figure out something that works. It seems so wasteful to have to buy two entire new potty seats just for the deflector.

Just teach them to push down. DS kept getting hung on the deflector so we took ours off. Then we stopped using the seat all together around his second b-day and had less out of potty issues.

He caught on to this way, way sooner than I thought he would. His pudgie little fingers I'm afraid would actually be more detrimental to the situation, than helpful at this point. We borrowed a friend's seat with a deflector and he still peed right over it. I'm not sure if it's just he way his little body is shaped or what. :shrug-shoulders: I know he's young, but I'm sure there are others that have had success with young toddlers. I'm thinking I must be doing something wrong. I've never potty trained a boy before.

Our son was so tiny that w/o a potty seat on he hung below the lip of the toliet lid. We found that he did better that way since it took major work on his part to pee out! He did most of the training on his own and our eldest son never really pt'd so good luck!

I think I have one, maybe two. The girls played with them in the tub! Lol! I kinda got tired of looking at them, so I may have thrown them out! Lol. But, I can send them to you and you can see if they'll work for you. I'll look for them! ;)

I was looking at the ring and it appears that the deflector would have had a lip on it that slides the piece into place. If anyone has any, I'd be happy to buy them from you.

I think my seat is different. I have one seat w/one and a potty ring with one. But at the moment the deflectors are missing, so if I find it, I'll let you know:p

Since we are ISO different deflectors, i thought i would post here too. I had two girls and now have a 15 month old boy. We have the fisher price musical potty chair. We need the piece for boys since we gave ours away looong time ago. Thanks!
