Hello!

I have a 4.5 yr old (in a forward facing booster) and 2yr old twins (both have a foward facing Britax marathon)in a 2005 Toyota Sienna. I am currently expecting a 4th child.

I would like to know whether it's possible to install a car seat ( or 2 -possibly the twins) in the 3rd row of the 2005 Toyota Sienna.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.

Yes, it's possible and many people do. There are several members here that have Siennas. It should be no problem to get at least two seats back there, either with seatbelt or with LATCH.

No problem, although the middle row has to be moved forward to make some legroom. My Radian would not install in one or two of the third row seats but now I forget which was ok. I think that is on the Radian install thread if you really want that seat. I have put a Marathon and a Parkway back there without any problems.

I have a 2006 Sienna. It has two LATCH locations in the 3rd row--Passenger side, and center. The driver's side doesn't have LATCH--or a top tether either. With two seats installed with LATCH in the 3rd row, there isn't really room for anyone to sit on the driver's side of the bench--At least that's how it was for me.

As for seatbelt installs, you can't use the driver's side seat because it doesn't have a top tether anchor (until one of your kids is in a booster). The center seatbelt install was fine, but the passenger side was impossible for me because of the angle of the buckle stalk--the seatbelt kept bunching up in the latchplate no matter what I tried, so I'd recommend LATCH installations back there if at all possible.

Good luck!

Hello

We have a 2005 Toyota Sienna. We have 3 children
- a 4.5 yr daughter in a booster.
- 2 yr twins in Britax Marathon.

We are expecting a 4th very soon. I would like to reorganize the carseats to be able to install the baby's carseat. Is it possible to install 1 or even 2 carseats (Britax maybe?) on the third row?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Yes you can put two seats in the third row easily. I have an 04 Sienna and my manual says to remove the headrest in the third row for a front facing carseat installation.

Ditto, I have an '05 Sienna. Florence, your similar post from the other day about installing in the Sienna also has some replies. I merged the two threads together for you here.
