latch question

This may sound like a silly question but here it goes:
I have a 2001 dodge caravan and 2 britax boulevards in the middle row - latch is approved int he van up to 48lbs - they each are using their own latch anchors - the 48lbs is per "set" of anchors correct? not for the whole seat?

Correct. Each set of anchors can hold the prescribed amount. As long as you're not sharing anchors (which you're not since you said each seat had its own set) you're fine... sharing anchors is generally not allowed.

Thanks! now i got to go out and take off the headrests in the van and loosen my tether! i am so suprised how little i knew before coming on this site! i thought I knew what i was doing! :)
