Are the covers for the Radian 65 and 80 interchangeable?
(what I'm really asking is "do I have to spend the extra money on the 80 for a girly cover?")

Don't know for sure if I'm getting one yet but.....

yes, but the replacements (https://www.shopatron.com/product/part_number=10670/578.0.23858.0.0.0.0) aren't cheap. If you're planning to buy a back-up cover anyway, it might be worth buying the 65 and putting a princess cover on it. If you don't need a second cover, I'd probably just go with the 80 to start.

In fact, if you click on Radian accessories at skjp.com (http://www.skjp.com/products/index.php?v=detail&cid=14&name=Radian_Replacement_C5738&id=123), all the covers are lumped together with no desination whether they're for the 65 or the 80.

The princess replacement cover description says:

Princess Radian replacement cover. When spills happen you can replace the car seat cover with a clean one and get on the road again. Soft ultra-suede fabric with thick batting for soft comfort. Hand wash only and line dry. Fits Radian65 car seat frame also.

:)

Does anyone know if the replacement covers come with the infant padding??
