View Full Version : "at the belt path"
Does "at the belt path" mean right at the belt path or all the way up the back of the seat from the belt path as well? What if you get movement at the top of the seat (towards the car ceiling) but it doesn't move right at the belt path--is that ok?
I know this is an obsessive question, I just want to make sure I have my seat in right :o:o

It means AT the belt path. The top of the seat will probably move a bit, especially if you're not using the top tether. Which you should if you can.
Thanks. :) That's what I thought, but the neurotic in me had to ask. I am using the top tether.

yup, grasp it near where the belt actually contacts the shell. Also, make sure it moves less than 1" at the beltpath before you tighten the tether. :)
Done and done! It passed. Thanks for the help.
