Hi,
I've been reading the manual on installing the Regent and I'm very confused on where it can go in my '08 Honda Odyssey. This is the oldest of 3 who is almost 5 just about 40lbs. I was planning on putting the seat in one of the outboard sides of the 3rd rosw. (Is that the right term...outboard?) Anyway, the Odyssey has part of the seatbelt coming out of the side of the car. The manual shows a pic that looks like that is not allowed. Does anyone have a Regent in the 3rd row of an Odyssey not in the center. I'd use the center, but I believe once he hits 40lbs we can't use the latch.

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Kim

I think it is only not allowed when the belts are attached to the door.

I have mine outboard 3rd row of a caravan and the seat belt comes from the wheel well next to it. I don't see it as a problem. Just remember the regent has to be tethered when using the SBP over 50 lbs at all times and SBP has to be thethered when using a lap shoulder belt above 40 lbs.

Yes, I have a regent in the 3rd row outboard of my '06 Odyssey. It is in short belt path with tether.
