I posted this reply to another thread ("True Fit Update") about the True Fit always needing to be at 45* angle but got no response. Can anyone check this out for me?

What is all this now?! :( I am so fed up with car seats!

I just bought two True Fits at almost full price! Well, one. Grandma bought the other one. I had gone to the store to try some seats in the car (she had been able to return the Young Sport). Took the Avatars out to test fit, but when I put them back in I noticed a crack in the base of DS1's seat! So I checked DS2's and there wasn't one in the same spot, but there was a crack in another spot! So we just got the True Fits right then and there, and the store allowed us to trash the Combis and put them in their personal dumpster.

Anyway, I cannot return them because they have been in use. And I was so happy with them. DS1 is finally RF again now after over a year of FF. Here is a link to the pictures: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jubgulia/ Do you think this is good enough?

TF says 45 degree angle. after you put the head rest on, i think FEW ppl are going to get that. which is a huge irritant to me, and apparently not the safest angle for toddlers...but i will be keeping my 2 yo RF'ing in it (if i keep it..i have 2) until he hits the 35 lbs.

i just recently returned a car seat b/c "it didnt meet my expectations". that was one of the options and i was honest about it...dont see why you cant return if you are honest and they allow it. if your intent is RF and you want to do it by the book, you may not be able to do that. :(

Okay, so I just found the "Terms and Conditions of Sale" stapled to the back of my receipt and it says, "All returns must be in their original package or carton in unused, resalable condition. Trial and exchange of merchandise is not permitted." So I guess there's nothing I can do but go against this 45* angle thing. :(
