Ya gotta use it properly for it to WORK! I saw one today at Target, pulling into the parking lot. Shoulder straps behind the kid, and harness so loose she could lean forward.

No doubt. I see it every day when I pick up my kids at school. An Expedition with 3 Marathons and 2 bouncing kids because none of the seats are being used. Next time I see them, I'm going to use the new hotline that just went into effect in my state.

If I remember correctly we are in the same state. What is this hotline?? I would love to use it.

I tell this to parents all the time. You can spend $250+ on a Britax and not use it right and kill your child in an accident. Then there is a parent that only spends $40 a Scenera for example and uses it correctly and saves your child's life in an accident. It's always about using it correctly.

I live in an area where I see a ton of Marathons. Have tons of friends who buy them. But, they never use them correctly. UGH. The most expensive seat out there will not save your child if you don't use the seat correctly.
