PLEASE ignore the fact that it is FF. I had my nephew in the seat and he is 42lbs. I just put ds in so I could snap a couple pictures. I'm just not liking the way he fits in there. Is it just me or does it look funky? Sorry about the picture size, photobucket wont let me resize for some reason.

To me, it just looks like he's leaning a little to one side--making the shoulder harness be out of position on the right side of his neck. Otherwise, I'd say he looks fine. I know several kids personally, from 4 mos to 5 yrs old, who ride in this seat, and it really seems to fit them all well. Good luck!

Edited to add: It looks in the picture like he's sitting up straight, but really it's the whole picture that's crooked.

He is leaning to the right. He ALWAYS does. That and the picture is a little crooked...but it's mostly him!

Aside from the lean he looks like he fits just fine. :) I imagine the lean could be countered by scooting his bum over slightly.

One thing I love about this seat is how it fits a range of kids so well and I've actually seen pic's of a newborn using it and it was a good fit with a newborn too. I haven't had dd in the seat since it's being used rf'ing for ds right now, but when I tried them both in it in the house, it fit them both great. Ds would've been 15mos and dd 3.5yrs old. :)

Maybe the harness geometry is just different than what you're used to? If you're used to a Britax seat you'll notice a big difference in the thighs.
