I am officially in love with the safeguard. I want one really bad. What a user friendly seat. I don't even care about the price tag on it at this point.

I have two, for my 4.5 yo and my 2.5 yo. I looooooove them.

I ended up getting them thanks to insurance. I had one in an MA and one in a RA when we had a wreck that totaled the car. I replaced them with two BV's. And then when our house caught on fire and the BV's were in the house, I was able to replace the BV's with the Safeguards. I got them in a really weird way, but man I love these seats! I don't know anyone else IRL that has them.

Are they the regular ones or the Safeguard GO ones? I have been looking at the Go ones since we travel and they are not as pricey as the regular ones. I am replacing 2 car seats because my husband's car was totalled and my son's are on the larger size.

I am talking about the regular Safeguard, not the go. The go is a nice travel seat, etc. If it is for full time use, however, I don't think I'd go with the Safeguard Go. The Safeguard and Safeguard Go are very different seats. Let us know the age, weight and torso of your kids and your price range and I'm sure we can find something that will fit your needs well. I believe the Go's are $199 and for $400 there are probably some other things you may want to look at first that will get your more use and may even cost you less.

I just discovered this seat & it looks awesome! My son is 4.9 years, 40#, 42" Is $400 the cheapest price? anybody do any deals, etc??? Do you know what the expiration life of it is??? TIA!

It has a 7 year expiration and a 7 year warranty! It is a really nice seat and easy to use. I think $400 is going to be the lowest you'll find it, but some sites might have a rebate program or rewards type thing.
