Does anyone know if it is safe to put car seats in the third row seats of an Envoy XL? They have shoulder belts, but I can't find anything in the manual that says yay or nay.
TIA!

my cousin has an envoy xl and i have put traveled with both my kids in her car on occasion. She also has her almost 2 year old grandson with her when we travel. So we have put carseats back there, although it is not ideal since it does not have latch or even a teether. So you have to install with a carseat and one that doesn't require the top teether.

Most don't. The Regent and Frontier do after a certain weight, the Safeguard Go requires one, but that's about it.

As long as the third row is factory installed and it came that way it is perfectly safe for seats to go in. Sometimes there are seatbelt issues in the third row (the third row of the Mazda5 has weird seatbelts) but that has nothing to do with the third row per se being dangerous, just the seatbelts being difficult.
