Latch limits in 2004 Sienna?

I can't find any specific weight specified in the manual, so I am assuming the 40 pound rule applies. Am I correct?

Toyota has you follow your child restraint manual. If your CR manual doesn't say anything, I'd follow a 48lb limit.

Thanks, BW1426. I am specifically looking to install either a Frontier or a Nautilus in the captains chair. What would the weight limits be then? And what does CR stand for? :D

CR=Child Restraint.

Frontier would be 40 pounds with LATCH, per the manual. Nautilus is I think 48, you'd need to double check.

Toyota defers to the carseat manual completely, they won't take a stand on the top weight limits they allow (Government won't make them, so they just don't say anything, it's a little silly, I think...)

Toyota Canada told me 65lbs+CR on my 2005 Sienna...but that was after much prodding and getting them to confirm to me that the '05 Sienna had the higher Newtons anchors in it. They might tell someone else something completely different, you just never know.
