I've noticed in my own, and others posts, that when they quote somebody, it doesnt completely quote. Its missng this..."]" at the end, so it doesnt put the box and such around the desired quote. You know?

Is this a problem you can fix? It doest seem to do it all the time, but I've noticed it a lot more lately.

me too- multiquote, even. I'm pretty sure the problem you are seeing is operator error.

I do it often myself. If you delete part of the quote or edit what you've typed below it (especially if you're using the mouse to hightlight a section of text), then take extra care to make sure all the necessary brackets are there. You can preview your post or edit it if you don't realize it before you submit it.

I agree. This is what I've been seeing.

And, while we're talking about quotes, please don't quote an entire post unless you have to for clarity. Just quote the relevant portion and delete the rest (yes, this means editing the unnecessary parts out, which increases the risk of deleting a bracket by mistake).

Fine.

That's not taken out of context or anything. ;) :D

I know how to go back and edit it to fix it, and I know to not copy an entire post. Just last night alone it seemed like I saw at least ten posts where they were having this problem.

Has nobody else seriously saw this?

Testing...Testing.... I'm definitely an offender and haven't been able to figure out what I've done wrong. Ok I think I got it figured out now. Thanks for posting this thread!

You could politely PM the person. Maybe they didn't proofread their post after they hit enter, or maybe they don't know how to fix it when it happens. As long as you're nice about it, they'll probably appreciate the help.
