What do you do if your latch is not in the center of the seat? Has anyone found that this affects the placement of the seatbelt on the child?

Yes. I have found that the Clek really doesn't work (shoulderbelt off the arm instead of on the shoulder) when my van captain's chair is moved to the center. Yet a regular backless works fine because it can slide over a little and keep the belt fitting right. I presume this could possibly be a problem in any car. Also, I think the Frontier manual mentions that if LATCH usage interferes with proper seatbelt placement, then it should not be used.

Overall, it's kind of a bummer..I guess they'll have to design LATCHes that dial or slide side to side (and expect us to pay mega bucks for them...)
