Am I allowed to do an ISO for someone? Someone on another board wanted me to order a Regent cover for her, which I can't do (Britax no longer sells them) and she is desperate and ready to resort to a custom cover. I didn't send her over here to do an ISO because I didn't know what the policy was on that. She has tried Craigslist and Ebay already.

Thanks!

If you are qualified to post there, you can post an ISO. As long as you take full responsibility for the transaction as if it were your own, it's fine. Any member is welcome to donate to support the forum ($3) in order to have access to the Swap forum, too.

Every once in a while this is OK if it is a personal friend or something. If it becomes a trend to bypass normal access to swap (SCM/Tech/Benefactor), then there will have to be another rule I guess.

I've never donated, and I'm allowed in the swap forum. Or am I just not allowed to post anything?

Is something wrong?!

You can read there, you just can't post there till you're a long standing member (and even then, it has to be mod-approved). :)

All members and visitors can view swap posts. Only Senior Community Members (based on reputation, post count and time registered), Technical Professionals (certified techs and instructors) and Benefactors/Sponsors can post new threads there for their own for sale/wanted/trade items.

I can't post there and I'm a tech. Did I miss something?

You're not registered as a tech. You have to be listed on the safe kids search and update the appropriate box in your profile before you can request access as a tech-

http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=26521

otherwise, you don't become a senior comunity member with swap access until you've reached the designated time registered, post count and reputation level. You can bypass those minimums by donating at a certain level-

http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=20767

supporter level gets access to the swap, benefactor can access the SCM forum and read the technical professional one and sponsors can have a link to their CPS related business in their signature.
