Regent Install

Does anyone know about installing a Regent in a late 90's minivan or 4 runner type suv? We are headedto Japan and I want to get Regents before we go but am not bothering if they won't fit?

We don't know yet. We won't be there until August. I am think it will most likely be either a Toyota Estima (same as the Previa) or 4 Runner. They will be installed in Japanese vehicles since Japan has an Embargo on US vehicles.

I had a Regent in my 98 Honda Odyssey; it is not a really EASY install, but it is doable...if it is a fairly wide captain's chair you SHOULD be OK; might try calling the company and getting some dimensions, then comparing those to the Regent, or just go to a dealership w/ a measuring tape in hand.... I am thinking the ones you mention should work, but can't say 100%. Also need to make sure the measurements are not different for the Japanese models!

Just an FYI, Regents aren't allowed to be used on planes. Didn't know if you were planning on flying with them.

The flying part wasn't that big a deal for me since we would be taking them on a 14+ hour plane ride. But i have pretty much decided on getting the Graco Nautilus instead for both of my girls.
