Toyota doesn't state LATCH limits and defers to the carseat manufacturer. What seat is she using?

She can get it in with the seat belt but prefers latch, it is a rental.

Ah, that's tricky, as her seat defers to the vehicle manufacturer (as do all Apex/clones). It's a circular conundrum with the seat defering to the vehicle and the vehicle defering to the seat.

Things we do know:
-Some vehicles state a lower anchor limit of 60 lbs (which you could do with the Apex and clones).
-Some carseats state a LATCH limit of 60 lbs (which you could do in a Toyota).

Theoretically, she could use the lower anchors that long for her Apex in a Toyota. At the very least, she should probably feel comfortable using the industry standard of 48 lbs. :twocents:
