Here's an interesting car safety product: www.kidhands.com.

They're car magnets, shaped like child handprints, that your kid can touch while you unlock your door, or unload your shopping bags.

That way, when you're in a parking lot, you can say "You're either holding my hand, or touching those hands." No exceptions.

Oh, cool :) We have palm-sized stickers on each side of the car: "Kids Safe Zone" & the other from the Dino museum.... I like the magnet better! ;) :cool:

That is a cool idea! I always make Morgan hang onto my back pocket while I'm putting Cody in his carseat but that's even better. One day I was wearing a stretchy skirt and Morgan almost pulled it off in the middle of the Safeway parking lot!!!:o

Ditto. The magnets are neat looking but I never needed them. :)

I tried that before we got the stickers -- there was just always something attracting her attention away from keeping her hands on the vehicle ... the stickers were interesting enough to keep her entertained long enough I guess :rolleyes: This was never an issue with my SD, though! Funny how different kids can be :cool:
