View Full Version : Interesting Observation - Radian on an Airplane

I often notice American techs reminding travelers to remove the Safe Stop when they use their Radians on planes with children under 40lbs. The U.S. manual says not to use the Safe Stop if you're not top tethering.

The Canadian manual assumes all installations are top tethered since here it is required by law. There are no instructions about not using the Safe Stop for under 40lb children - including any mention of removing it while flying (unless I've missed it.)

So, is this an oversight on SKJP's part?

Just thinking aloud again ;)

Hmm, interesting thought. And I have no clue.

Probably an oversight. However, I think in this case, even though the Canadian manual doesn't discuss this, I would follow the American tech's advice.:twocents:

Isn't this something our friend, Russ, at SKJP needs to address?

true, it would be a good question for Russ. Who wants to be the one to stalk him this time? I think he needs to thank us at this site, as we give him job security as we keep him so busy! lol!
