I was able to get a tight fit with Scenera thanks to the help from you guys yesterday.
Now these are the quetsions I have:
1. I accidently loosened one side of the shoulder strap. So one side is lengthier compared to the other. I had no clue how to fix it.
2.The tether(probably used for FF) is dangling at the back. Is it ok?
3.When my daughter is not in the carseat the straps are loose behind the carseat. Also please send me of pics as to how to change the position of the straps from one level to the other(by removing and attaching back the inverted V shape clip at the back).
Overall any pics of adjusting straps will help.
Thanks

1. I think you're describing the harness being uneven after you loosened it using the harness adjuster lever? If you raise the harness adjuster lever to fully loosen the harness, you can probably get it evened out, and then tighten it up again by pulling the harness adjuster strap. You could also double check to make sure the straps are in the same shoulder harness slots in both the seat cover and the seat's plastic shell, and make sure the harness isn't catching on anything underneath or behind the seat.
2. There should be a plastic notch to clip the unused top tether strap's connector hook onto the back of the Scenera down near or on the back edge of the Scenera's rear facing recline "foot." It's good thinking on your part to want to safely stow the top tether to avoid the possibility of it swinging around and striking your little one. I'm assuming your little one is rear facing. If she's forward facing, and you have an available top tether anchor in the vehicle, then by all means hook up the top tether to the top tether anchor because it will help to reduce head excursion. But for a rear facing install, definitely clip the unused top tether onto the back of the Scenera.
3. I don't have any pictures to illustrate (our spare Scenera is away from home at grandma's right now), but I'll try to describe how to change the harness slot position. :) To change the harness slot position, you'll need to unhook the harness from the metal harness "splitter plate" on the back side of the Scenera, and rethread the shoulders straps through the slots. It usually works best if you unhook one side of the harness at a time from the splitter plate, and then pull that harness strap through the current slot position toward the front of the seat. Then rethread the strap through the new slot position from the front to the back of the seat, making sure the strap isn't twisted, and also making sure the strap is threaded through the same slot in both the seat cover and the plastic shell. Then rehook the harness strap onto the splitter plate. Repeat the process for the other side of the harness, and voila, you're done. The Scenera manual should have some pictures to illustrate this for you. For rear facing, you would use the harness slots at or just below her shoulders, while for forward facing you would use the slots at or just above her shoulders.
I'm not quite understanding your question about excess or loose harness behind the seat when your daughter isn't riding in it. If you're using the harness adjuster lever to loosen up the harness when you unbuckle her, then it's probably possible for some slack from the loosened harness to end up behind the seat. Just make sure the harness doesn't get caught on anything behind or under the seat to cause any slack in the straps when you buckle her back into the seat, and always make sure you pull on the harness adjuster strap to tighten the harness back up nice and snug and to eliminate any excess slack. When she's buckled up, the harness needs to be snug enough on her to pass the "pinch test" described and shown here: http://www.carseatsite.com/FAQ.htm#General%20Questions

I'm trying to think back to when I used my scenera...I don't think there is a specifically made place for the tether when RF... If there is, then use that of course, but if not, you can just clip it to the LATCH clips. (When LATCH is not in use, the two straps should be clipped together in back, and then just clip the tether clip to one of the LATCH clips)

Oh, and also, I think I understand what you're saying about the slack when she's not in it. Theres no problem with it, its simply because the straps aren't tight up front (since she isn't there to "tighten" them with her body) so the harness splitter (metal piece in back) is weighing the straps down, letting all the excess slack from the front (where she would be) to be moved to the back. Did that make any sense? lol

The straps on the Scenera is one continuous loop--it runs under the baby's bum, so it's pretty common to get them uneven. When you put the child in, pull on the shorter side harness coming out from by the baby's hip to even them out.

1. To make both sides of the harness even, you just pull on the shorter side, it should even out pretty easily... I have that problem sometimes. :)
2.On my scenera there is a place to attach the tether strap. Like the place on the sides were the latch clips go, there is also a place almost completely under the carseat that you hook the tether strap to. So the latch hooks go on the side, the tether hooks underneath the carseat. You do not want it dangling. :)
3.Do you have you manual still? It has pictures in there to show you how to change the position of the straps. I would take pictures of mine to show you, but its installed in there good right now and I am feel too pregnant to go through that again, LOL. Its pretty easy though, Jeanum described it very well.

 I forgot in the scenera the LATCH clips had specific spots. Now I'm really trying to think what I did with that tether strap :o. I KNOW I wouldn't have left it dangling... but what did I do with it?!

This is a TERRIBLE picture of it, but there is a "hook" on the base of the reclining foot. That's what you are supposed to hook the tether to when it is not in use.

Those oval holes on the side are where you are supposed to hook the unused LATCH hooks.
