I am thinking about purchasing a Scerena as a seat for the little girl I watch a few days a week.

We have a 2001 mountaineer that DOESNT have latch. My son is in the middle in his MA Rfing.

My goal is for the Scerena to fit in an outboard position so that I dont have to uninstall and reinstall my sons MA every time I want to take another young child in the car with us. The scerena will be RFing outboard.

Does anyone know if it will fit? I measured the space in the outboard positions with the MA in the middle and there is more than 17in in the seat area but I am worried about the area where the MA flares out, near the childs hips. It is just barely 17 in.

THanks!

ok, well since no one knew, I decided to buy one anyway and try it out!

It DOES work! They fit just fine side by side and there is still room for another passenger behind the drivers seat.

I had to use a rolled up towel (didnt have a pool noodle). There seems to be lack of support in the seat bright of my mountaineer. I can push my hand through very easily.

But the Scerena is secure and doesnt move in the belt path and the MA is (has always been) installed securely in the middle. They are both Rfing.

I took pictures but I havent been able to find my camera cord since we moved. When I find it I will post the pics.
