Okay so I just bought fpsvd a few weeks ago and have been installing it with a seat belt as we have been moving it around. I was going to permanently install it and looking for the instructions to use the latch belts and can't seem to find any :shrug-shoulders: Does this mean it can't rf and use the latch system ? If not then should I get another seat ?

If you're talking about the lower anchors, the car seat manual should have instructions on page 16-17.
If you're referring to tethering RF, you can't do that with the FPSVD. The seat is still safe, though - I have one for my DD and feel perfectly comfortable having her RF without tether.

Are they under the cover? That's usually where Britax LATCH straps are- under were the child's bottom goes. If not, call Britax. Someone posted a couple months ago that her FPSVD was missing the ff tether. If you find it, it routes through the same beltpath as the seatbelt.
edit: I'm confused. Are you looking for the instructions or the strap? I think I misread your original post. :o

There should be instructions in your manual. Have you looked there?

Yea I'm looking but I'm only seeing the forward facing , the rear install is just showing a seat belt. That's why I figured I'd ask.

ah, okay- instructions. The FPSVD manual is kind of a mess. Yes, you can absolutely use LATCH rf. Like bookmama said, just be sure not to use the tether rf. :)

Ah okay I wasn't sure I keep finding all kids of forward facing instructions and can't seem to come up with the rear facing.

Pages 16-17 of the manual. Really. :) (Unless you have a different version, though to my knowledge there was only one version of the FPSVD manual.)

rf latch should be the very first installation instructions. The usual britax pattern is rf- LATCH, L/S, lap only; then ff- LATCH, L/S, lap only.
