hi again,

I just spend an hour here doing searches and reading all I could about installing the Regents into my 2008 Toyota (7 passenger) Sienna. But my head is still spinning.

My children are just under 40lbs so according to the manual I need to use the "long route" with LATCH, long route w/ the lap-shoulder belt, or the long route with the lap belt. And of course I will use the versa-tether.

I learned that I should hammer in the recline bar to get it in the holes tightly, and that I should tilt the actual minivan's seats back if I am installing the Regent in the captains chairs, which I am, and then bring the seat upwards after I install the Regent... is that right? Did I interpret that correctly?

Is there anything else I need to be aware of? How long should I allow for the install of two regents? an hour or two?

thanks so much.

Yep, you got it right.

You take as much time as you need. As an experienced mom/tech it only takes me a few minutes to install a Regent/Husky, but when I first tried it did take longer, probably about 45 minutes my first time out, but I didn't have a clear understanding of it at that time, certainly not as much prep as you have done!
