Yeah, new to me! I had a parent with one that expired 02/08, she didn't realize it was expired and had a seat at home to replace it with. No directions. I was seriously perplexed! For those who don't know what it is, It's a forward facing seat that is in principle similar to an infant seat, in that the seat tilts forward and the belt runs through a base of sorts, then the seat goes back into the frame. It took me a while to sort out. Interesting idea but REALLY glad that they aren't making them anymore! Anyone have a picture?

I believe they still make them/similar too, in the UK.

I think most people who played with them, pre-LATCH, said it was the most solid carseat install EVER and loved it! :D

It was a solid, easy install once you sorted out what it did. The poor mom had three really tired kids, issues with all three seats and I was totally in car seat geek mode. I wanted to just play with it, LOL!

Plus it is one HEAVY seat. We have one as a teaching seat for our new techs.
