Regent adjuster issue

I buckled in dd, pulled on the strap to tighten, and when I checked the tightness, they pulled right out! I finally realized the problem - the lift tab to loosen the harness was stuck on the underside of the Regent's cover - permanently in the loosen position! Eek!

I'm sure it's common knowledge to check for tightness, but I shudder to think what would have happened if we hadn't checked that day and gotten in an accident.....

Just a heads up for Regent owners!

I'd call them and tell them it happened, anyway... it's possible they'd want to log it as a potential problem with that cover design...?
