I called Combi today about the infant seat recall. I wanted to get the retro fit kit, but I have since given my seat to a former co-worker and don't have the model number etc. When I called an told them that I needed the kit they said that they can't do anything with out that info, even though I have the seat registered with them. There is no way to look it up its "in a different file at a different department" I asked if I could speak to that department, she said no. (I wanted to ask if maybe they didn't have phones there?)

So I have a call out to a supervisor :rolleyes:

Is that normal? Why can they not look up that info?

maybe the cs department doesn't have direct access to the warranty/recall department??:confused:

That is SO weird. My Graco stroller had a recall on it & all I had to do was call & ask for a kit & they sent it no questions asked. They did not even need to know any of the manufactor info. Well...wait a minute...I did mine online. Try it online, maybe you will have better luck without needing that information. I also wonder why they would dout that you need it! That is weird, I mean why would you want it if you didn't NEED it??
