Hello,
I take pride in researching before making any decisions but I am stumped right now. Here is what I have going on...we own a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan.

DD#1 = age 6, 50lbs and 46 1/2" tall. She is currently in a Parkway, seated on drivers side, second row, captain seat.

DD#2 = age 3, 31lbs and 37 3/4" tall. She is currently in a Marathon, seated in middle of 3rd row bench (FF).

DD#3 = age 15months, 18lbs and 28 1/2" tall. She is currently in a Cosco Touriva, seated on passenger side, second row, captain seat (RF).

The Touriva is expiring this year hence the research. I was going to get DD#3 a Marathon but read that Canada may be getting the Boulevard. I think I will hold out to buy that if it will be in Canada before then end of the year! Do you think it will be here by June? The dilemna....which daughter should get the Boulevard? I was thinking I should give DD#2 the Boulevard because even though she is in the safest spot in the van...she is FF. I would give DD#3 the Marathon and keep her RF as long as possible. SUGGESTIONS please!

Plus, with the talk of the Frontier coming to Canada...should I purchase one for DD#1 so that I can put her back into a 5pt harness until she is 65lbs? I don't know how fast kids grow and if it will be worth it?

All opinions would be greatly appreciated and taken into consideration when I purchase.

Thank you in advance,
Tanya :)

How does your 6yr old do in her booster? Does she sit properly in position? At her age & weight, if she's mature enough, I'd be comfortable leaving her in a booster - but it's more about your comfort level than mine. ;)

I think I'd be more tempted to buy the frontier - if it's available in time, to give to your ff'ing 3yr old who is currently in the MA, then pass the MA down to baby. It'll still have the TSIP you're wanting, but will give you a booster for future use since you have no need for the rf'ing function of a convertible with your 3yr old. It's supposed to be in Canada end of spring early summer. It will be a case of wait and see when it shows up of course... but if you have a year, I'm sure it'll be here by then.

The Frontier is going to be $300, but since you're already looking at putting that much (probably more,) out for the BLVD, I'd just get the frontier instead if it's available by the time you need it.

eta: Link to frontier spoilers/speculation thread, feel free to post any questions regarding the frontier specifically over in that thread. http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=38852

Thanks Trudy!

That's why I ask for opinions ... I never even thought of scenario that you presented :) I am hoping they come out with the Frontier soon then because we just switched my youngest DD into the Touriva and found that the straps are not tightening all the way! I will pull it out today and see what the scoop is. Hopefully it will be something that I can fix. Luckily, she is still small enough to fit in the Graco baby carrier.

Keeping my fingers crossed :)
