I got home today and this was waiting on me:love:

I LOVE it. It has the ease of push and smoothness of roll of the MBUD and the small fold and liteness of the MTT. Also it is so much smaller front to back than the BJCSD with all of the same great features. I love the fabric. So much brighter IRL than the stock photo.

The only problem is, my cover seems to be defective and is already slightly fraying. That fabric shouldn't be over that swivil part of the wheel:confused: Will be calling Baby Jogger in the AM.

First pic: comparison of MBUD, MTT, and BJMD:
(The MBUD is sold and will be going to its new home Tuesday/ The MTT I hope will sell soon.)

Oh I love it!! I have been coveting one of these forever. (but no kids:thumbsdown:)

How do the kids fit comparing all three, especially your son? Which does he have the most growing room in? And which is the most comfortable for them?

Seatback height is 21, 17.5 and 21 respectively.

The MBUD has the least amount of growth room because the hood comes strait out and down and drives J crazy because it is sitting on his head open or closed.

The MTT has the most head room wise but unfortunetly, the seatback is so short, J has little or no head support already.

So the BJMD is a nice compromise because the seatback is tall and the separate hoods fold up like a bubble and come nowhere near his head.

yes, you're experiencing the fraying also. I have it too..

its an issue that they know about, but will just send you a new stroller to appease you.

i have fray..

thats my fraying!

apparently somewhere in their un-logical thinking, they decided to NOT go with their original thinking of cutting around it (like how it looks on their website, AND on the BOX!!)

not a good move!

Oh, shucks! It is not bad now but will probably be obnoxious with time.

I love your new stroller! I wish I could convince my dh that I need a new one. Mine is old and well used and well, who doesn't need a new stroller every once in a while? I already got a Quest after reading about them here. I need a new hobby - this site is expensive!

my baby has those shoes - they are her fav!

I am jealous. I have a huge, bulky One Step Ahead Sit & stand stroller. It is so annoying. I wish I could afford a new stroller.

Oh, it was everything you said and MUCH MORE! It is so light and from the side it is the exact same size as the MTT. We have been using it like crazy yesterday and today and WOW!

:ROTFLMAO:

Nice stroller!! I just got the BJCSD in navy/silver this weekend and I absolutely love it! No problems with DS2's height -- room to grow, even. What amazes me is how balanced it is. Straight ride, smooth easy turns - even if only one of them is in there.

Navy/SIlver? I wonder if the double and single colors are different. The single blue looks kind of pasty blue in the pictures so we rejected it in favor of red.

I have the mini (single) and after a month of light use, that front part was fraying terribly! Strings/fraying was sticking up at least an inch. I called BJ and they sent me a new seat. I had to return the old one, but they sent a prepaid Fedex label for that. The new seat (delivered in Feb) isn't taut in that spot the way the old one was (old one was mfg in Sept). The snaps are in a different spot, so the fabric doesn't rub that part of the stroller anymore. It's definitely an improvement!

I love this stroller!!

I just ordered one in orange for my DS who s 3.5 years old and 40" tall. Are the kiddos comfuy when this stroller is reclined, too? I'm always worried about that attached netting stuff at the back of the seat. I hate that part of my other jogging stroller. Any thoughts on the recline? I can't wait until mine gets here!!!

One-handed recline. It lays completely flat. There is netting on the back when it is reclined, but there is a piece that comes down to cover that up if you want. It buttons out of the way when you aren't using it. I love that feature ;)

I would say it's super comfy reclined, because BOTH of my kids have fallen asleep in it on several ocassions (they are ages 4 and 3). This is coming from two kids who very rarely fall asleep in their carseats.

Cool. Thanks! I just hope his head doesn't hit that netting part too much. I guess we'll see how it goes when it gets here!!

I have a very tall 5 1/2 year old who doesn't ride in strollers often, but she does fit very comfortably in the BJCM. She has no problem either upright or reclined in the seat. Granted, she'll all leg, but still fits great and LOVES it. In fact, she often sits back and watches TV in it when it's in the house .

ETA - Baby Jogger should seriously be sending Lovinwaves some serious referral money, or at least a couple of free strollers! I think she's converted half the board!

I just recently bought a BJ City Elite. I haven't really had the chance to use it, since we are moving next week and I want the Movers to NOT damage it I left it in the box.....But I had the choice of about 10 different strollers and REALLY liked this one. I can't wait to get where we are going so that I can unload it from the box and play with it....lol. My little guy seems to like it....but I guess I'll be able to get a better idea of the likes and dislikes of the stroller in about 2 weeks!

LOL. You know honestly, I have been tooting their horn because they deserve it. When I started selling strollers there was alot of strollers to choose from for my customers. I constantly found myself recommending the Baby Jogger over everything else. Their warranties are awesome. Their customer service is awesome. Their strollers are quality made. Period. Some of the other manufacturer's I was so worried to mention because of their poor customer service. I have heard too many stories. I personally owned the Baby Joggers. I *had* experienced their customer service. And as well all know nothing usually comes to us the way it should, or promise *do* arise. It's great to have a company that answers their phone calls, and stands behind their product *wanting* to make it better.

This new Baby Jogger Mini I think has been their biggest hit in years. This is the FIRST stroller I haven't wanted to sell with in a few months..er...weeks :o Hard to think of anything I dislike about it.
