I can get a plum 2007 for the same price as a 2006 Navy. I have two boys and I'm not super wild about the plum, but if the 07 model offers some sort of advantage over the 2006 I'll get it.
What do you think?

The differences are pretty minor. The 2007 has beefier tires and heavier weight fabrics. Also, there is something with the footplate. So minor, I can't actually see it. Ha ha. I have a 2006 MBUS and a 2007 MBUD and honestly the differences are there but I barely notice it. I actually like the older tires better. Although I bet the newer tires are more resistant to flat issues. The fabrics are definitely thicker on the 07's. Again, they will probably hold up better in the long run.
IMO, six one way - half dozen the other. Good luck!!

"Changes made from 2006 to the 2007 model:
* Steel reinforced adjustable handle bars
* New thicker, beefier tire treads
* Enhanced seats; doubled fabric for additional strength
* Riser and foot plates now have a molded finish"

Thank you! I think I definitely need the heavy duty fabric...my boys are bigger and I would like it to last for a nb (we're ttc)
I want the 2007, I just don't want a purple one! Maybe I can find someone that would trade me plum for moss or red? :)

I bought the plum one too and even though I have two girls, I didn't want purple. My MIL gave me some unexpected money so I bought new seats and a canopy from MB. Pretty pricy but it was free money...ha ha.
