so this stroller has mixed reviews (and not many) but i've found a really attractive one for the right price and no, i'm not exactly addicted to strollers - for those of that you remember my cosatto diablo post...well, let's say that after returning two of them, they're not worth the hassle...they look cool and that's about it and so i'm in the market again. i have a volo for travel but don't want to use it for trips to the library. i was going to get a techno XT or XLR because i love macs and don't think i can switch brands again but then it occurred to me that i could use the volo, not only for travel, but for shopping, and keep a larger, jogging type stroller around for actual excercise. i've been wanting a jogging stroller anyhow, so is the MX3 worth it? is it really huge? anyone have one and drive a midsize sedan...does it fit in your trunk? would you take it shopping or is so huge that you'd use mostly as an all-terrain outdoors stroller?

thanks, i know that's a lot of questions but i'm hoping someone has some experience.

I'm on a couple stroller addict boards, and no one but no one buys these, hence the sale pricing
Keep it simple and go for the favorite of the week...a Baby Jogger City Series :)

weird - i think the baby joggers are ugly and the only MX3's that are on super sale are the 2006 models and i just think they look super! plus, i love the fact that they have regular mac wheels and not rubber tires because they'd surely go flat here in the great southwest with our abudance of goatheads. i'm still debating this purchase and may just stick with a techno as i'm not technically in the market for a jogging stroller, but thought maybe this would get more use if i could go off-roading with it. lol!

not sure why my comment showed up twice...

editing: i know the older Mac 3 got worse reviews though someone on strollersandprams.com said that aside from screws coming out  that it was possibly better than the MX3. i dunno...it doesn't look like there's enough evidence on either side of the fence for me to make this decision with the help of others...so i either buy one and see or don't. for the last few days i'd been eyeing on on the costco website thinking i could order it (save even more money, too!) and return it to my local costco if i hated it. now they're all sold out :(

Aw shucks!

<insert blurry memory music...> Ah, goatheads and strollers... I used to walk my kids to preschool, about half a mile one way, and I could get home and have like 30 goatheads per tire  I ended up putting permanent foam bike tubes in to save my tires and sanity...and the one time I took my poor Volo on that walk I think I permanently scarred it's wheels...:o

Does albee or www.babye-store.com (http://www.babye-store.com) still have cheap m3's? maybe www.dmartstores.com?

e-babystore and some seller on ebay has the MX3s for $179.99...i think i may just order one BUT now i'm for sure sold on a techno XLR - just have to find the best deal on an 06 or 07. the tan/crimson one is about $195 on ebay which is less than other sites i've seen and the tan is actually darker than the stock photos shows but i don't want to pay that much. lol!
