I have a friend who wants to buy a marathon (and isn't picky about cover) in the next month or so. She really doesn't want to pay full price. Are there ever any mini sales that happen other than the two big ones?

Sometimes stores have seats with reduced prices because the cover is a closeout or the seat is older. Albee Baby comes to mind.

We may have one for sale here soon. I can return it to Target with no problem, but if someone here is interested, I'd be glad to sell it to them if we don't keep it. It's a Marathon Cowmoo that we got for $208, I believe? I'd just want that back plus shipping. I'll keep you guys posted. :)

The one I got was DOM Feb 2008, rf to 33lbs

Albeebaby is always a good bet for britax sales on specific seat covers.

And I have used traveling tikes to buy two marathons before. I got them for 229 and they were the current yr (07) when I bought them. They tend to have quite a few covers on sale on a regular basis with free shipping! Right now they are 219!

Thanks! I think she would IDEALLY like one of the 35 lb ones, but I think for a good enough price a 33 lb would do!
